Just bee-ing
Without bees our world would be much less colorful, fragrant, sweet or bountiful. Crawling all over this cone flower (Echinacea), this worker is gathering pollen to carry back to the nest, where with nature's help it will magically change into honey, the only food which never spoils. Along the way, stopping at other attractive blooms, the bee will pollinate them. The cone flower actually is an herb. Historically it has long been used medically by natural health care advocates and Native Americans.
