Golden terrain
This isn't what anybody thinks it is. It's not an aerial photograph of an open-pit mine; it's not a picture of some lunar or Martian crater; it's not a crumpled leaf or the browned skin of barbecued chicken. It IS a closeup of about 2 square inches of one of those dirty-orange rocks you can find just about anywhere -- roadsides, the woods, in that hole you're digging to plant a tree. And it can be hung in any direction on a wall.
